 Southern Utah Art Guild is a non-profit organization. Board meetings are open to all members as well as the community. Board meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend but not participate in the business meeting. There is opportunity after the business meeting concludes to have round table discussions.

SUAG Membership

 SUAG membership dues will now be on a "Calendar" yearly schedule which will be due every January 1st. If someone signs up in June their dues will still be need to renewed the following January. SUAG has one of the least expensive yearly fees of any art guild and has so much to offer it's members for the $35.00 yearly fee.

 Please support SUAG so we can support the arts in Southern Utah

Public Relations/Media Chair - Promotes SUAG, RCG and AHG through all PR in all media areas, web, FB, Instagram, and local publications.

 Arrowhead Gallery Chair - Oversite on this DBA and all business associated with this gallery as well as supervising one contract person.

Kyle Denning will be presenting

"Faces on the Streets of San Diego"

Kyle will be sharing his experiences and interaction with street people as he captured through oils the character and the humanity in each individual. His discussion will include his tools and methods he used to help capture impressions on canvas.

This meeting is a great time to update your SUAG Membership

Our next SUAG Art Show at the Red Cliff Gallery is planned for May 7-June 4 with registration on Wednesday, May 5. The theme for the show will be "Portals and Pathways."

More details with application will be emailed to you in April.

We look forward to our first SUAG Art Show of 2021.

Alicia “Ali” Lockwood is a graphic designer, photographer, and artist. She has her B.F.A. degree in Visual Communication with a double major in Photography and Graphic Design. She is co-owner of 6BIT Creative, LLC in St. George, UT located on Main Street. Ali’s fine art and photography reflect her skills as a graphic designer. Ali is a member of and involved with several organizations locally and nationally. She has served on the SUAG Board of Directors and is currently serving on the Advisory Board for MoFACo. Her other forms of creativity include writing and music.

The 'In and Around St. George Wall' at the Arrowhead Gallery is a very popular interactive way that locals and out of town visitors can vote for their favorite art. Submissions from Arrowhead Gallery artists can be brought in The first week of every month. The wall is a great attraction for people to see what artists have created. We are so pleased about your excitement, spontaneity and collaborative efforts in this latest project. Prizes are awarded at the end of each month. DSU Art Department

Figure Drawing

SUAG members have been invited to participate in free figure drawing sessions with live models sponsored by the DSU art department. The sessions are held each Wednesday night from 6pm to 8:30 pm in Room 121 of the North Plaza Bldg.(old Harmons Bldg. on 100 South. Bring your own drawing materials and plan to arrive prior to 6pm as the sessions start promptly and late arrivers will not be admitted. Members of the DSU art department staff are expected to participate, however there will be no instruction provided.
