Color of Winter Winners Announced

The Southern Utah Art Guild is proud to present its Winter Art Show that will run through January 24th in the Red Cliff gallery. The theme of the show is “Color of Winter”.
The “Color of Winter” award winners are:
Best of Show – Galya Folkman for “Winter Soft Color” - Oil
First Place – Barry Gray for “The Forest” – Wood
Second Place – JoAnn Merrill for “Cold Stairs” - Photography
Third Place – Mel Scott for “Morning Outing” - Watercolor
Honorable Mentions:
Gayla Folkman for “Winter Blues” – Oil
Mark Garnett for “Frosted Poplars” – Pastel
Alice Hiatt for “Winter Snow” – Oil
Illene Bandriga for “Snowy Gateway” – Photography
Bruce Bullard for “Kinesava” – Photography
John Mangels for “Winter’s Night” - Acrylic
The judges were Morgan Clements and De Leon Slade from the Art Department of Dixie State University.
The show features 131 works of art from 44 Southern Utah Artists. The show consists of contemporary art from all mediums including all forms of painting and mixed media, photography, pottery, sculpture and other. All the art is for sale.
The show is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
The show will also be open during the Arts to Zion Studio Tour, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, January 17th, 18th, 19th and 21st. Selected artists will be working in the gallery and will have additional works for sale.
The Red Cliff Gallery is located in the St. George City Commons Building, 220 N 200E, in St. George.
